The properties and USES of common antioxidants are as follows.
Four [β (1) - (3, 5-2 tert butyl 4 hydroxy) phenyl propionate] pentaerythritol ester is also called the antioxidant 1010. The white liquid powder, melting point 120 ~ 125 ℃, low toxicity. It is a good antioxidant. Polypropylene resin is widely used, is a kind of high thermal stability, very suitable for use under high temperature conditions, bag-making function to extend the service life of products, in addition, can also be used in most other resins. The general dosage is no more than 0.5%.
18 propionic acid of bergol -(3, 5-ditert butyl -4- hydroxyphenyl) is also called antioxidant 1076. White or light yellow crystalline powder, melting point 50 to 55 ℃, non-toxic, insoluble in water, soluble in benzene, acetone, ethyl esters and solvents. It can be used as an antioxidant for polyethylene, polypropylene, polystyrene, polyvinyl chloride, polyamide, ABS and acrylic resin. It has the characteristics of good oxidation resistance, less volatility and washing resistance. The general dosage is no more than 0.5%. It can be used as an assistant for shaping food packaging materials.
1, 1,1,3-3 (2-methyl-4-hydroxy-5-butyl phenyl) butane is also called antioxidant CA. White crystalline powder, melting point 180 ~ 188 ℃, low toxicity, soluble in acetone, ethanol, toluene and ethyl acetate. Suitable for polypropylene, polyethylene, polyvinyl chloride, ABS and polyamide resin, bag making machine and can be used in copper contact wire, cable. The general dosage should not exceed 0.5%.
(4) 2, 6-2 tertiary butyl - 4 - methyl phenol, also known as antioxidant 246. White or light yellow crystalline powder or flakes, melting point at about 70 ℃, boiling point at about 260 ℃, non-toxic. Used in a variety of resins, insoluble in water, can better inhibit the effects of oxidation, thermal decomposition and copper, so, a wide range of USES. Bag-making machine is more suitable for food packaging and molding materials (polyvinyl chloride, polypropylene, polyethylene, polyester, polystyrene and ABS) resin. The general dosage is 0.01% ~ 0.05%.
